[SOLVED] Pc popped

My pc popped and smoke came out so I unplugged and changed the switch from 150 to 230 and it popped again.
What has happened

I think most likely the PSU popped.

Many times you can locate the source by putting your nose close and sniffing around for the burnt smell (and I'm serious).

Sniff the PSU....if it smells burnt....it has probably failed.

It is psu but don’t know where the pop came from so shall I plug it back in and hope it pops again

I think that most likely the pop probably came from inside the PSU and if you take it apart you might even be able to see the damage.

I think that the PSU is probably toast and I would just replace it.

I would suggest for the manufacturer a Corsair (not the VS series) or any Seasonic power supply....and of course it needs to be large enough.

Which Corsair or SeaSonic psu as the pc is ASRock p4i65g

I haven't heard anything bad about any Seasonic.....so I would say any Seasonic model.

I have recently purchased a couple Corsair RM series. I like them and I think they are good units.

Just make sure you get enough wattage.
