Question Pc power light turns on for a second, then turns off and doesn’t boot

Hello,
I recently bought a pre-built pc and attempted to fit a new hard drive into it. But now I have the problem listed above. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?
Any help is appreciated.

Does the PC return back to normal and boot up normally when you remove the HDD?
