PC powering off with new PSU?

Specs:
AMD FX-8350
Crosshair V Formula Z
2x4GB Ripjaws (1600)
Western Dig 1 TB HDD 7200 RPM
Corsair RM 850
GTX 780GHz edition

Note: I tried to OC'd on my CX750 and my computer would power off after 5 minutes of gaming, now I tried with the RM850 and it powers off after about an hour sometimes less and then I will randomly get a blue screen, then sometimes after that sometimes I get a bsod even on default clock settings. I have tried between 4.2-4.8GHz, my temps reach 50-60C under load for CPU, GPU, and Mobo.. I have seen people OC to 5.1GHz with a lower wattage psu. Thinking I need to switch to an LGA 1150/i5 combo?

Edit I switched around some of my fan slots and now my H80i is running at 2700 RPMs keeping my CPU at 15C idle/35C under load, mobo at 35C, GPU at 45-50C.. I am OC'd at 4.6GHZ

your temperatures are not being read correctly. evidently this is common to AMD systems - your cpu is NOT idling at 15C, it's idling at 15C above some other figure (maybe 15C above ambient). so saying that you were hitting 50-60C under load is not actually true.

i never liked the FX chips, but have had no problems with their APUs which honestly i quite like and am using in 2 of my current builds. anyhoo, some links on AMD temperature being (in)accurate
