Okay so recently I was forced to use the reset button cause my PC got freezed while I was playing nba 2k15. Since I pressed the button it keeps restarting the PC every second. I figured out that reset button was stuck inside the case but even tho I unplugged its pin on f panel and tried to run PC on again it kept on restarting every second... Any ideas guys ?? :??:

mobo: amd 970a ( double bios )

Solution
That will definitely work based on what you've described to me with the fans spinning up and then shutting off and with you testing the PSU.. potentially the mobo could be faulty but I highly doubt it. I've "fixed" dozens and dozens of machines that people wasted so much time trying to isolate the "hardware" fault on them when the CMOS battery removal technique for the win all day.

Let me know how you get on :)

Are there any error codes present? Make sure that the only front panel connections that are connected are the ones for the power button, also try resetting your bios and unplugging your machine for a few min (while it's unplugged hold the power button down for 10sec to clear residual power).

^Thanks for answering APassingME. Okay so I don't hear any error codes. I got 1 more problem right now. My Reset/Power buttons' cables got cut by mistake.. I can run the pc with a screwdriver and I have made sure that the right front panel connections are okay but the problem keeps on going..

Could be your PSU failing, do you have a replacement PSU you can try? I have had this issue before when the board can't get enough power to boot and it just cycles off/on. Beyond that it's not abnormal to only hear the fans running since nothing else will start up until the board gets going.
