Pc problems with cycling on and off

My pc keeps cycling through on and off. when I turn my pc on the fans will turn on and the rgb lights will turn on for a second then it will power itself off and then power itself back up again I don't know what to do.( Pc specs) cougar 1200w power supply (Yes I know it's overkill) Intel i7 7700k,asus stri z270 motherboard, corsair water cooler, asus strix gtx 1060 6gb, corsair case, corsair 16gb ram (vengance I think), Intel 128gb ssd and 2 tb barracuda drive

When did it start to happen? A setting in the bios or a component does not allow to boot. Try first to reset CMOS. If it fails, remove gpu and try to boot again using igpu. Keep removing components and see if it boots, i.e. remove one ram stick, remove the hdd. Finally remove everything and see if you get any beep code from the motherboard

I only have 1 stick of ram but ill try everything else also it didn't start at a particular time I was just playing fortnite yesterday then when I turned my pc back on it did that

16gb ram in a single stick?? Are you sure?

I have also realised that I can't do anything software related as I can't get into bios

Ok just ignore this thread I opened my pc up and took this malfunctioning led strip out and now it works fine
