PC Ram issue

So I just upgraded from windows 7 32 bit to windows 10 64 bit after i upgraded some parts such as my video card, ram, and cpu/mobo. However, I still see that 3.95 gb out of 8gb ram i have is only useable. any help?

Try the Sticks in slots 1-2 from the CPU to see if a channel issue. What mobo, CPU and model # of the DRAM?

DRAM should be OK, did you try them in slots 1-2 from CPU? If both work there then may be a channel issue ot the H7 may be too tight in a corner or side throwing off the MC 9memory controller) could try loosening then snug down screw tight

cpu slots? I don't think there is any. i put them in A1 B1 for dual channel.

Put them in the 2 slots cloeset to the CPU
