HI guys, so for the past few weeks my PC has been powering off out of nowhere, not linked to any specific task on the PC ( it has happened whilst playing games or just web browsing). The pc does not just start shutting down it completely powers off like it would in a full power cut. i can then turn the pc back on and it works perfectly until it does it again. I have also had problems of the PC freezing with a horrible buzzing coming from the speakers that then means i have to forcibly turn it off. I did a completely fresh install of windows 10 my PC is only 3 years old.

Specs:
CPU AMD fx-6300
RAM 8GB DDR3
MOTHERBOARD GIGABYTE 970A-DS3P
GPU GTX 960 2GB
PSU Corsair VS 550

That PSU would be the first thing I'd point a finger at, with those specs. You should be working with a more reliable unit. Just for the sake of relevance, what color is the sticker/label on the PSU? How old is the unit?
The PSU will be 3 years old (was brand new when purchased) its a bronze colour, I believe they market them as 80 plus bronze. I found a picture online of my one
