Hey guys,

i searched a lot in the Forum but the "standard" stuff like unpacking cores, testing RAM, power options, CPU GPU Temps, cleaning, didnt help so far.

Then i tried making a fresh install of windows but the problem is still there.

My Pc started droping fps like 2 weeks ago while playing Overwatch.
Sometimes it works just fine without any drops even after an hour of gaming but at some point it will begin to drop fps.

PC: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30 GHz
MSI H97 GUARD PRO (MS-7923)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
8GB RAM

Today i tried to monitor my pc while gaming but only had one real fps drop/lag.
I recorded it with HWinfo64 and uploaded it.
At about 5:17 there was a huge fps drop / small freeze

EDIT: Here is a better one at about 2:10 is a huge 5 sec lag and everywere smaller lags

If you need more Information just let me know!

Help is really appreciated!

Cheers

Solution
That is a general power issue BSOD that can be memory or driver related. I suggest testing your RAM with memtest.

If the memory isnt' the cause it could be other power relate parts such as the PSU or motherboard power issues.
If you know what your doing you could try shutting down un-needed services.

This or use a program like advanced system care shut them down for you. This can optimize your system, registry, free up RAM, and turn off un-needed services To turn off services click on the speedup tab and configure turbo boost.

Did everything. The overall FPS increased 10-30 but still the same fps drops.
[strike]10 Minutes ago i had the worst experience ever. I played Overwatch again and it dropped to 15 FPS for minutes.
Now everything is lagging even at the desktop. Mouse freezes for a second etc. even my sound is lagging?![/strike]
^solved.. Antivirus program activated randomly in backround and slowed my disk

Its a bit better overall now, but still some drops and very short freeze

Its me again. I think its my RAM. I got a fresh installed Win 7. and after restart with no programs anti virus or anything running my RAM use is at 50% (4gb) and in Cache are also 4gb. When i start playing and my PC need more RAM nothing happens.. there are still 4gb in cache and my pc starts lagging like crazy. The best part is if i watch my processes and count them all together it should be only 2gb of RAM.. about 1.4GB Windows and the rest is audio. teamspeak and some Win apps.

How is that possible? If im correct cache is just used as a "disk" since RAM is a lot faster so it speeds up different apps while starting etc.? But if i need the RAM in cache it should free them for my pc games etc.?

Hey,

yes its win 7 64bit.
Well now everything is even worse.
Now i get bluescreens after i start my pc. Everytime at startup.

Here is a picture (Its not my Pc but its exactly the same 2 errors)

On forum it says i should deinstall intel driver and reinstall it. But i dont get to desktop and even with win cd i get bluescreen.
But i dont think that this caused my small lag problems at first? Im confused.

I guess im doomed :(
