PC Random Restarts, No bsod. plz help.

Hi, about a week ago my 1 year old pc started to randomly restart. no blue screens. no error at start up. Other than the random restarts the pc works fine with no freezing or etc. rarely the restarts happen at start up or even before safemode options come up..
I have no dump files.
Event viewer indicates the following
Event log ID : 1101 : Audit events have been dropped by the transport. 0
I did several memory tests and found 0 memory problems.
I bought a new X-Tech 700w power supply yesterday, didn't help solve the problem.
Cpu/Gpu temp/usage seems fine, I used open hardware monitor software to monitor temperatures. I have been reading and trying stuff on the internet for days with no avail.

PC Spec:
CPU: i7-3770 Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 - BX80637I73770
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 270
Motherboard: Gigabyte LGA 1155 Intel A-B75M-D3H
Harddrive: 1TB Toshiba
Ram: 8 gb Kingston

I am 99% sure that the BSOD is not appearing as your computer is set to auto restart on failure. If you follow my below instructions I imagine you will see a BSOD on the next failure. Then when we see the BSOD we can start to trouble shoot!

Start > control panel > system > advanced system settings > start up and recovery settings > remove tick from automatic restart on system failure.

Good morning I have had automatic restart on sustem failure off since i bought the pc, I just checked to make sure, had a random restart while typing this reply.. surprisingly event error 1101 didnt show up but two new errors showed up for the 1st time since the pc started to random restart, ill type the errors below. thanks for the reply.

Error 7000:The APC Data Service service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Error 7009: A timeout was reached (30000 milliseconds) while waiting for the APC Data Service service to connect.

Have you tried restoring to an earlier point?

Sometimes a windows/driver update can cause the PC to crash, restoring to a point before the update resolves the issue.

You can also get crash because your hard drive has errors, try running a check disk for errors.

Recently my PC was crashing everytime I used a program called Sandboxie so I uninstalled that program and this fixed the problem.

Not sure if any of this applies to you though.

Hey, no i haven't tried any system restore. i will do that now.
The only drivers i updated was gpu drivers and that didn't help.. and well there is windows update. which has updated a few times in several weeks. i did some checkdisk scans and sfc scannow which all came up with no errors..
I may even reinstall windows if the system restore doesn't work..

Try and use a restore that predates the date you installed GPU drivers.

I only installed the GPU drivers yesterday thinking it probably was the problem. There are no restore points for the gpu installation.. Other than that there is a few windows update to restore before during this week when the problem started so I put the system restore for 2 weeks ago where the PC was working with no errors. Hoping it works

I did system restore till 18 november which is the furthest restore point i had, just got a random restart once more.. event error 1101.. Should i reinstall windows?

Can you post the exact error message you are getting and tell me what you are doing when this happens?

There are no errors poping up when the pc randomly restarts.. sometimes im on facebook or playing game when the pc restarts, i get random restarts before the welcome screen sometimes, not to often. once there is no restarts the pc works fine as ever.
CPU temperatures are 66 at lowest in 5 minutes and 71 at highest in the same 5 minutes checked. thats high.. usage is normal and low..
GPU temperature is at 35oc
Motherboard temperature is 27oc
Storage is at 37oc, just had a restart while replying lol
Edit1: after 10 minutes. pc is on idle and cpu temp is average 74-76oc..
Edit2: after 20 mins pc on idle cpu temp drop to 50-55 and restart 3 times in a row.

Have you overclocked your PC? If so this can cause your PC to become unstable and crash.

In the first edit your CPU temp is high and again this can cause the PC to crash to prevent the CPU getting damaged. This happened to me with a crap laptop I had and it now runs like garbage. Your other tempartures are fine.

My cousin replaced thermal paste and CPU temperatures went down to 40oc. There were still random restarts.
I decided to reinstall windows. Took out the graphics card. The pc restarted a few times before installation began. Even before the press any key comes up. So its not CPU or GPU. PSU changed so not that. Even the DVD/CD drive I removed and still had restarts. All SFC/scannow and other HDD test gave no errors. Only the motherboard left, I don't want to waste money to buy another since its 1 year old and I'm not sure if its the problem.
Edit: no I never over clocked and I don't know how to lol

Have you tried to uninstalling your GPU drivers and installing the most recent ones? Have you ran a check disk on your hard drive? Both of these can cause your PC to randomly crash.

Yes i did it long ago. Checkdisk and sfc/ scannow came up without errors. I had no restarts in the past 18 hours which was great but i just put my harddrive on the other computer and its restarting at start up constant. I just sent the PC to a technician.

My guess is that it is one of these 3 things:

1. Hard drive has started to fail.

2. You have a dodgy driver installed.

3. You have a malware infection.

Hopefully the technician finds the fault and does not charge you too much.

Hi. The technician said the motherboard was the problem. Probably caused by to much heat or dust but I always clean my PC. He said my GPU can cause some problems in the future, it has no room to breath and it blows hot air directly onto the chipset causing it to not function properly.. He said my GPU can give problems due to heat and not good cooling. So I should also change my PC case. I always left my case open and have an extra system fan..
