So i have this issue with my computer where it crashes anytime i play games. It crashes to a randomly colored screen, and it never happens when im just browsing the web or something.

Specs:
CPU: i3 2100
GPU: GTX 550Ti
PSU: VisionTek 700w
RAM: 6GB DDR3

My harddrive isnt properly mounted, its in a mount thing but isnt properly screwed in. I ordered a new mount that hasn't arrived yet. Could it not being mounted be an issue? I've tried many things with this and none of them have worked.

Most of the time crashes happens due to overheating of CPU, GPU or PSU and overheating cause due to improper cooling/airflow or dust.
so make sure you have a proper intake fans that pulls cool air inside the case and exhaust fans that pushes hot air generated by components outside of the case. and also make sure your PSU is also getting cool air and dust free.

To monitor your CPU, GPU temps you can use MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision.
