While gaming and even sometimes randomly while just idle on the desktop, both monitors will go black and have no signal. All the case lights and fans will remain on, the keyboard, mouse and rgb mouse pad shut off. No inputs turn it back on, the only way to restart the PC is to hold the power button and wait for it to force a restart.

I have checked the event viewer and there is nothing but unexpected shut downs.

We replaced the mobo, cpu, and ram about 8 months ago (we were having the issue before then)
The psu was replaced almost 2 years ago, we can't remember if the issue was there before or after the psu change.
The only hardware that hasn't changed over the years is the hdds, ssd, and gpu.

I am planning on upgrading the GPU here in a few weeks but want to know if this sounds like a PSU issue or a GPU issue.

Below is some info from a dxdiag. I can post the entire thing if needed.

I had a similar issue where I would get some driver error and the screen would go black.

After much researching and countless uninstalling and reinstalling of drivers I decided to replace the PSU.

I also took out the GPU and cleaned off any dust and did some cleaning inside the case as well.

Ever since then it has been smooth sailing for me.
