Hi!

I bought this custom built pc from a shop 1st hand. After 3 months or so, the would start crashing when im playing games, however the crashing would occur more and more often till the point that it is randomly crashing now when im not even playing games. ( i bought this pc 5 months ago) it is so bad that it crashed halfway through making this post. Really need help please!
Thanks! (p.s my pc will still crash even when in safe mode)

Specs are as follow

I5-4690k
Gtx960 palit
8gb ram
As rock h97killer motherboard
1tb toshiba hdd

My cpu and gpu temperatureare around 30ish degrees when idle and rarely hit 50 degrees whwn gaming too.

Thanks in advance

Hi there malboroiceblast,

Isn't this system still under warranty? In case it is, you can just contact the place you got it from.

Apart from that, the fact that your system crashes even when in safe mode, points towards a hardware issue.
You can try several things:
- Update your GPU drivers. In case the issue persists, take your GPU out of the system.(as you have integrated one)
- In case you have more than one RAM stick, take all of them out but one.(just use one at a time at different slots)
- Test your HDD: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility
- Borrow a PSU from somebody and try it on your system

Hi!

I have tried all of the above before, pc is still crashing even when i plug into onboard graphics. Hdd is fine with no errors. Ran the windows memory diagnostic test tool for 22 hours with no error. The only thing is i do not have a spare psu or 1 that i can lend from someone. Is there anyway to check if it is faulty? I also do not know how to check if my motherboard is faulty.
Please advice.

Thank you! :)
