So my pc occasionally freezes on the "shutting down" screen and I have to do a hard reset by holding the power button. It doesn't happen every time maybe 3 times so far. The rgb in my pc stays on during the freeze if thats important.

It also froze once when I launched a game through steam and I had to restart it the same way but that only happened once.

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue it seems to happen randomly. Most of the time is shuts off without an issue.

Things I've tried:
-updated bios to latest
-disabled fast startup
-DDU clean and rollbacked the gpu driver
-ran sfc scan and check disk in command prompt
-installed windows updates
-made sure hardware isn't overheating
-reseated ram and disabled expo in bios
-ran memtest86 overnight (no errors)
-checked for any loose power cables

Specs
OS- Windows 11
Cpu- 9800x3D
Cooler- Nzxt kraken elite 360
Gpu- 5090 aorus master ice
Mobo- Msi x870e ti edge wifi
Ram- 2x32gb ddr5 6000mhz cl30 corsair dominator
Psu- Corsair Rmx shift 1200w
Storage- 4tb Samsung 9100 nvme

Let me know if there is anything I missed. Any help would be appreciated!

For the sake of relevance, can you please state the version of your BIOS at this moment of time?

Is the iGPU disabled in BIOS?

Ram- 2x32gb ddr5 6200mhz cl30 corsair dominator
Got a link to this ram kit?

Can you see if there are any .dmp files? What does event viewer have to say?

I have not checked if the integrated gpu is disabled I'm currently running windows repair so I can't at this moment but I will try that.

Here is a link to the ram. I had it set to expo 6200mhz in bios and had no errors when stress testing or running 4 passes of memtest86. https://a.co/d/2SndKDP

Where do I find the .dmp files? Event viewer had a critical error when I force shut down the pc I'll have to check what the error code it was when windows repair is finished.
