Hello guys
I need help with my PC,
so a while back I replaced my motherboard cause the memory IC burnt out for some reason, anyways
nowadays my PC locks up randomly and I can't do anything about it unless I restart it especially when playing a game, first, my sound goes off then the PC slowly slows down till it locks up (it doesn't freeze) and it becomes unresponsive apart from the start menu opening and closing
what could be the cause of this issue?
could it be that the old motherboard damaged my ram sticks?
I tried reinstalling windows and that didn't help I also checked the event viewer and nothing bad there
my PC specs are:
Asus B85M-G motherboard (the same one as the previous one)
i7 4790 (non k)
16GB ram 4x4 1333Mhz
RX 480 8GB
1TB Seagate HDD (for games) and a 240GB Kingston SSD (for windows)
Seasonic 620Watt PSU
I built this pc a few years ago and it never acted this way before
