Today when I turned on my PC my sound was not working. After checking my sound settings I saw that my headphone jack was not being detected.
The only sound devices that are being detected is my monitor (HDMI connection) and my mic (connected via USB). If I remember correctly my headphones were classified under 'speakers', but now only my mic is. I have updated to the latest windows and NIVIDIA drivers.

Also, ever since I started having this problem my PC wont shutdown properly. The monitors will go black however my PC and accessories stay lit up (on).
