My PC randomly reboot after I installed my GPU. It reboot probably 2-3 times a day. Sometimes it would freeze and stays at a black screen. The GPU hasn't been clocked and I did verify it with MSI AFTERBURNER. However, I haven't check if my CPU overclocked or not, I assumed not. Anyone has any suggest or solution, I'd be happy to hear them.

Here are my components:

*WINDOWS 10

*Motherboard: Asus - M5A78L-M/USB3

*CPU: FX-6300 (stock cpu fan)

*Graphic Card: [PowerColor Radeon R9 270] AXR9 270 2GBD5-DHEV2 2GB 256-Bit

*PSU: EVGA - 600B 600 W 80+

Solution
first test you show you the voltages your psu give and what it does under load the second for pu will put a load on it so if it could not handle it you will see .
I would check the temps and the PSU voltages in HWInfo.
The main voltages should be +12, +5 and +3.3 within 5%.
The temps I'd say roughly cpu max 70C and gpu max 85C

Start HWInfo and let it run...then run a few apps or games....hopefully it won't reboot so I wouldn't take all day.

Then check HWInfo.
Check the high and low voltages and the high temps.

Hey! I downloaded the HWinfo, but I'm sort of lost reading the specs. Here's what it shows for me running two adobe photoshops and sony vegas. Also, my computer randomly reboot right after I posted this replied 🙁

Let me know if my readings are legit.

It looks like my psu went over the 5% scale. does this mean i need a better psu?

do these 2 test use occt and stress test psu for a bout 10 min then use the gpu-z rendering optio to stress test gpu and check temp voltages with fans sppeed on hwinfo when gpu test goes on , i did notice your ram could go at higher speed check the jedec under xmp to set them .

jay..I might power down and reseat the plugs, reseat the cards etc. Maybe something came loose.

I’ll look into repositioning the wirings and components.

I ran Fortnite online streaming seems to be okay itself. But when I open multiple programs all together like AdobeCS6, Adobe Lightroom, and Sony Vegas, the pc reboots.

I don’t have much knowledge in these diagnostic testing, but I think I can improvise good enough to get this problem solved. I can’t test the pc until later though. Worst scenario I will upload the screenshot results here.

You're welcome.

Perhaps when you ran HWInfo....you didn't load the PSU enough....or it wasn't warm enough to show us the voltage go out of spec.

...but being the new PSU fixed the problem....I think something went out of spec....at least for a brief period....but enough to cause a reboot.

...and by the way....I've been using those Corsair RM series and I've had no problems.
