Ok, stick around because this is going to be long:
My brother received his brand new PC, yesterday and within about 20 minutes of playing a game it rebooted itself (Not switched off and stayed off, it rebooted and came back on)
This happened a few times, when playing games, not when surfing the net.
So we contacted the company we bought the PC from and they gave us a few tests to do, get the temperatures of the CPU:
Idle for 15 mins (No application) Max temp: 18°C
15 Mins in game (Arma 3): Max Temp:36°C.
Furmark test (GPU)
With the GPU Running at 97-99% for 15 minutes, the max temp was 75°C, which is good with the fans running at 61% Max.
Problem no longer occurred, played ARMA 3 for an hour, another game for an hour, and then after about an hour ontop of those 2 hours of game play with no random reboot, we was watching videos on youtube and the pc just rebooted again.
Please could someone help.
We are not technically minded when it comes to Drivers, BIOS etc.
So an idiots guide would be useful.
