Hello, I have this PC:
GPU: GTX 1080 8gb
CPU: i5 7400 (LGA 1151)
RAM: 2x8GB @2400Mhz
MOBO: Bazooka MSI250M
PSU: 650W
SSD: 500GB
OS: WIN10 x64
It works fine, no freezes, gaming is ok and so on. But if I touch it and move it 2-3 cm, it restarts
Also, sometimes when it turns on, monitor, mouse and keyboard won't turn on (no leds) so I have to restart it (simply restarting doesn't work, I either have to hit the case and it restarts or unplug and plug it back)
Sometimes that doesn't work, so i have to switch the rams between their slots (there are times when it goes further so i have to unplug and plug the gpu/ cmos battery to work) and then plug all the cables back and it works.
I've tested without GPU, only with a stick of ram placed in different slots, ssd and psu are new.
Is this a bad wiring problem or a motherboard problem?
I've searched for the same mobo and they don't sell it anymore, at least in my country.
Any ideas?

When you installed the new psu did you use the new psu power cords? Did this start before or after the new psu? I would recommend that you no longer "hit" your pc. I know you said it helps but in the long run it may make things worse.

Hey there,

Which exact monel PSU? Not all 650w are made the same.

This does not help matters at all, and is probably the reason your system is having trouble.

nJoy Astro 650, but this doesn't seem the problem to me since it happened with the old and new psu, two different models
To me, there are only two posibilities: bad wiring or bad mobo

What was the model if of the previous one? The nJoy is tripe. I wouldn't have it in a system.

It could be the mobo. Have you cleaned it out? Take all components out and clean the inards with a can of compressed air. Make sure each socket is clear of dust. Then try again.

Test your memory outside of windows with memtest86+ and see if you pass without errors. If you have errors, the one or more sticks could be faulty.

Hitting the case is your clue. This would not affect the internal components, only cable connections or the cables themselves. Try moving things inside the case to see if you can induce the problem.
