Hey!

So this has been going on for quite some time now. All my drivers are up to date. my bios is updated aswell. But while playing battlefield 4 or world of tanks the pc just restarts. Or even while browsing or watching youtube. this has been going on for over a year and I even thought about overheating so I actually planted a fan next to my pc which is always blasting full force in my pc. but it didn't help 'much'. as it still happens to randomly restart/bsod.
Please help me!

3 years I think. the problem itself has been around for 1 and a half year
It's modulair btw

The reviews for your PSU seem to suggest that what you're experiencing could be caused by it.
If you know how/when to make it happen, try swapping in a different psu (borrow a friends, buy one at store and return it if it the problem persists, ect) and seeing if that solves anything.

I've been searching for customer reviews about this psu but couldn't find a decent one! I lack the ability to search the internet properly :(
Could you link me one of those reviews? And I guess I would give it a shot, might buy one that's compatibel with more than just intel.

Something must have happened because... I can't find the reviews I was looking at earlier either...
They were here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817341017
And they still kinda are, it's saying there are no reviews for the product, but on the top and sides there are suggested reviews you can check out to see they do exist...

I did read a review that descirbed a problem very similar to yours, and others mentioning how the PSU failed about 6 months after the warranty ended.

No. PSU is not the answer! Bought and installed the new one and the same problem happens after a while of gaming :(

What BSOD code do you get?
I dont think it have to do with overheating, but try monitor it while gaming.
Clean your PC, make sure everything is sitting correctly.
You might wanna do a memory test.

Worst case scenario: You got a bad MOBO.

Well you said it, As the temparature and memory both seemed allright, (since it's 90% hard reboot and 10% BSOD of the times it stops) It seems to be the mobo. A new MOBO is on it's way and I will find the bsod log results etc and let you know if it's the mobo or not! :)
