Two days ago I installed a new graphics card and ever since I have been having random windows restarts. I had a similar problem before with my old GPU which people thought was my crappy PSU but the old problem seemingly fixed itself.Windows recognises the shutdown as a BSoD but no blue screen actually appears and on restart windows recognises it as Blue Screen error, BCcode 124.I have used HWmonitor to check temperatures and nothing is above 60 degrees celsius. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated.

System
PSU:CiT 750u 750W
Motherboard: Asus m5a78l-m
gpu: AMD R9 290
CPU: AMD FX-6300 (6x3.5GHz)
RAM: 2x4GB

they are right! thats a low quality psu you have.! apart from that it provides only 44A on the 12v rail. so thats 528w. get a proper psu. a quality 550w one would also provide over 40A ! your previous gpu wouldnt be more power hungry than your current one!

an XFX 550w with 45A on the 12v rail for about 50-60$ will do just fine!

The issue is definitely not a PSU one. I went out today and bought a corsair CX750M and it hasn't fixed the issue. Any other possible solutions?

yes, check all your startup processes and programs. maybe its time for an clean windows install!

i Am now entirely sure that my problem is caused by either my Graphics card or drivers as the problem didn't happen whilst they were uninstalled? is it the drivers or the actual card itself?
