[SOLVED] PC randomly restarts

Hi,
So just did a rebuild on my pc to a newer case and now my pc keeps occasionally restarting. First day 3 times, second day not at all, third day once and today 3 times.
PSU is about 2 months old and the only change during the rebuild was the case and a new pcie extender cable.
Could the extender cable cause a pc to have to restart?

My specs:
I7 6700k
32gb ram
Rtx 2070 super

i mean remove the extender cable and plug the gpu into the motherboard itself and see what happens.I am possitive that is the problem since its the only thing you changed besides the case.
