Ive was randomly playing mmorpg when my pc suddenly shutdown. when I turned it on the Gpu had stopped working, Gpu is an Nvidia 780gtx. The fans were spinning but I was getting no image. had to switch to my onboard gpu to acess the computer. there was no sign of my gpu being connected. Im going to try swapping the PCI slot but I think It will have no effect. I've had this pc for close to a year now running fine.

specs.
Asus Maximus Vi Formula
I5 4670k
Nvidia Gtx780
corsair tx 750

Ive tried different pci slots on my motherboard. but the results are still the same sadly. Fans going but no indication that the Gpu is connected. I have noticed something fairly interesting. The Gpu seems to let out occasionaly a single beep lasting 2-3 seconds.

I currently cant test the gpu on another computer since I dont have any. but I will try to arrange something with my friend.

any idea what the beep can be?. as said the Gpu is an GeForce GTX 780 3GB

Your Asus Maximus Vi Formula has a debug led which shows numbers when booting
Is there a number on there that stays longer while booting or even the whole time ?
Its in the right upper corner of your mainboard

I get the A0 wich is a non-error code. Dont get any other codes that stick there for long

Nothing I can honestly think of. I was just casually playing "Archeage". having a couple of tabs of chrome open. after about an hour the computer just dies. The Gpu was very hot. but its always hot when playing games.Im going to be testing my gpu with my friend in a couple of days before I apply for warranty. had the gpu for near 1 year now. running triple monitor setup on it nothing has gone wrong in that whole year until today
