[SOLVED] PC Randomly "shuts down"

My PC keeps "shutting off" what i mean by this is: ill be using it fine then all of a sudden i loose all display output. I also disconnect from any game im playing as well as discord and any applications or programs. I dont get any audio either. Its completely random to me it seems, its nothing i can recreate. The* thing thats causing confusion for me is all the internal and external lights stay on. From the power button light to the GPU RGB as well as the RAM RGB and mother board RGB. All fans connected to the pc and on the GPU continue to spin. My power button ceases to function once this happens. I *have to kill the power via the switch on the PSU. i can turn it back on and i usually have to sync the time in my taskbar manually to get it to read correctly. Ive tried hardware monitor as well as task manager to see if something is spiking in power use or getting too hot. im not seeing anything in these number that cause me concern. Im at a loss for what it could be. Any help sourcing my problem would be awesome.

In at a loss of what it could be. CMOS battery? GPU? CPU? Im stumped

Try these step by step:

• Use 1 stick only on slot 2 or 4, then boot to windows
• Disconnect from internet
• Uninstall gpu driver using DDU (clean and do not restart).
• Uninstall all the processors on device manager (should be 16 on yours) like this:
  
  
• Restart the pc to bios, and update to the latest bios(download, extract the files and copy it to flashdrive, plug it on top rear usb slot then reboot to bios and flash the bios)and shut down after the flash, then plug all the ram back in. Then go to bios again after update and load default or optimized settings.
  
  
• boot up to windows and install the latest AMD Chipset driver, reboot, go to power plan, and choose amd ryzen balanced power plan, and connect to internet.
  
  
• Install the latest nvidia driver.
  
  *do this all offline until reboot after installing amd chipset driver, also you may reboot to bios after all of this to set the XMP (and previous settings you did in the bios), make sure your ram is on slot 2 and 4. Download needed files (highlighted word) before doing step 1.
  
  
• Make sure the psu connected to the gpu is 1 pcie cable per 1 slot (use main cable, not the branches/split) like this:
  
  
  
  
• And check windows update (and optional updates) if there is any. Also enable Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling (available on the latest windows update) in graphics settings like this and reboot:

Went to one stick of RAM in slot 2 and tried to boot to windows. Now the PC wont POST and the CPU debug light comes on.

Try the other stick of RAM in slot 2 instead...

Should of been specific. Thats my fault. i tried all 4 sticks of RAM in slot 2. All produced the same results i mentioned. I also tried two of the sticks in slot 4 as well. With the same results.

could boot on slot 1 or 3? use that to boot to windows if it worked

What exact model. Your 'old' was not a good one for a high end GPU. You don't solve the problem with another crappy EVGA.
