PC randomly shuts off and the fans get louder

Hi,
A few months ago my PC started to randomly shut off multiple times a day, sometimes while I'm idle on my desktop. The event log doesn't tell me anything.
Then it enters "the mode" where the screen is black, the fans start are louder than ever and all I can do is hard reset.
Sometimes, after a reset to exit "the mode" my PC does not restart but reenters "the mode" up to 5-6 times until it finally restarts.
Different events which might relate to my problem:
1) BIOS seems to display wrong CPU temperatures (of 65-75 degrees Celsius) while Core Temp etc. display healthy 25-35 degrees Celsius. (Overheat Protection is not respnonsible for "the mode") Besides my CPU-cooler is relatively loud all the time.
2) After every reset to exit "the mode", the event log displays the event 10016 "The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239}
and APPID
{316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}
to the user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM SID (S-1-5-19) from address LocalHost (via LRPC) running in the application container not available SID. This security permission can be modified using the Component Services administrative tool." multiple times when I'm logged in again.
3) After one specific but usual reset to exit "the mode" Firefox stopped launching properly. The task is running but I have no user Interface. I reinstalled it and it worked for a week, until another usual reset made it stop working.

Thank you
Eric

- If you are using a graphics card I recommend either trying a different graphics card or using the integrated graphics (A-series and Ryzen G processors).

- When does this "mode" occur exactly. From the moment you turn on the PC can you access your BIOS settings at all? Do you get a Windows loading screen?
You're probably overheating. If it's an AMD processor than the temps you are getting from CoreTemp may not be correct. I would remove the cooler, cleanup the paste, and remount the CPU cooler. I'd also blow any dust out of the case and try running with the side panel removed to see if it's an airflow issue.

If you are overclocking, revert your overclocks.

With random shutdowns no diagnostic info in Windows such as the Event Viewer with give you any useful information. No software problem will cause your PC to completely shut off. This is a hardware issue. If it's not overheating then a component such as the motherboard or PSU is failing.

I am still not completely sure about the overheating, because even when I boot for the first time after the PC was off all night, I get values of 58 degrees. Airflow seems not to be not the problem. Why do AMD processors may lead to wrong Core Temp values?

Ok. But when I was in the situation yesterday, where the pc did not reset, but enter the mode again and again, it wasn't warm at all, when i felt the cpu-cooler. Also, the cpu-fan speed but rather the case fan speed seems to increase.

I will try that.
I didn't notice any consistancy, except when a shutdown occures, it's most likely that another one will happen in the next ~30mins. I can access my BIOS settings at all times. Nope, the screen just turns black.
