I have a very standard gaming PC build that I built around two years ago, I've had a stock cooler on it and never upgraded. My issue is that sometimes (normally when playing games like Crysis but also randomly through general use) the PC will just shut off power completely. You almost here a 'click' and then all it's shut off straight away, at first I thought it might be overheating but my core temps dont rise too much above average and even then I dont know what kind of temperature would cause an immediate shut off.
I'm hoping you guys with a much more in depth knowledge could help me out, I can't really play anything at the moment. It's not even consistent either, sometimes I might be able to get away with a couple games on BF4 but other times it will be only a few minutes. It may be overheating or a faulty motherboard etc. but any help would be great!
Cheers.
