Hello, i have a pc with:
  • Motherboard: Intel dh67vr
  • CPU: i3 - 2100 3.10ghz
  • GPU: GT 1030 2gb gddr5
  • HDD: 500x2 1tb
  • RAM: 4x2 8gb
  • PSU: 450w

my problem is my computer rarely boots, whenever i turn the power only the motherboard light is working, but pressing the power button won't do anything.. if there's a problem with power button or motherboard then why do my pc turns on sometimes? I also bought a new psu and i also tried removing graphics card and 1 stick of ram, but it won't start... So right now my pc started before like 2 days ago then it automatically turned off after sometimes... I'm also sure that it will start again after a week but it would not start again.. I'm having this problem for like a year now.. also I've been using this pc for 10 years only having this problem for a year, no way I'm getting low voltage either, everything runs fine on my home.

You could try disconnecting the power button from the mobo and using a screw driver to quickly short the mobo pins to see if that turns the pc on.

At 10yrs old perhaps change the bios battery.

The power switch could be intermittent contacts, thus it works sometimes and sometimes not. Use a clip lead to jumper the contacts; that would eliminate or include it as a source of the problem.
