my pc specs:
core2duo e8400
emtek gts 250 with 2 6pin
psu rise 600 watts generic
asus p5gc-mx/1333

i use two 6pin adapter connected in 1 4pin molex each
sometime reboot after the temp is 70-75 degree C when gaming
sometime reboot even in temp of 65 degrees when gaming
when i use furmark it reboots before the flame effect appears
my cpu temp is fine 58-63 degrees
i adjust the fan speed to 100% using evga precision x but still no use

Solution
I don't think it's a temperature issue; if it was heat, your PC would slow itself down, not reboot.
It's more likely a problem with your power supply unit. Low quality power supplies usually don't output near what they claim.

ok i will try to borrow my friends psu cause his psu is a 500w true rated

make sure your cpu temps when not loaded are around 35-40c. if there higher and your using the intel cpu fan check that the fan is moving and the legs are locked down. with cpu if the rig a few years old the tim paste may have gone bad. ask your friend if he has some thermal paste and try and clean off the old paste or see if it dried out. use msi afterburner make a new fan profile for the gpu fan make it max out at 50c see if the rig stays up longer. the older gpu from nvidia ran real hot.

my cpu fan rpm is 1400 and 4k when gaming
i recently apply thermal paste on my cpu and gpu
my cpu temp in standby is 47-51 degrees it think its normal cause its hot here in philippines
sometimes when i run mafia 2 the gpu temp stables in 55 to 60 in 5min maxed out in 1024x800 res in windowed
in full screen 1280x1024 maxed out settings in 24-30 fps i use mafia 2 benchmark but it reboots in an explosion effect and its in 70-75 degrees i think
