Question PC rebooted but went blank after 'Welcome' screen after each bootup

From 5am-130pm(today), my pc would boot. But go blank after the 'Welcome' screen. My first thought was the video card/chip. I checked the HDMI cable from my PC to my monitor. Nothing was loose. Since then, it has been fine. But, I am still stumped.
