So my Desktop pc is rebooting at random times. At first,i thought it was an issue with my pc so i sent it for service. After 4 days straight the pc didn't reboot once and the guy at the shop adviced me to buy a ups as the pc itself did not seem to be the problem. So i did.I also bought an avr to be safe but the problem persists. Is it possible that the house electricity is the issue and neither the avr nor the ups can fix it?
I want to repeat that the shutdowns do not seem to have a pattern.
PLEASE HELP and sorry for my english.
Also sorry if i did not use the correct subforum to post this.First time posting something here!

Hi there jimmy94,

Do you get some sort of error message? In case you don't and your system just reboots, try to disable the automatic restart: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/windows7/ht/automatic-restart-windows-7.htm

Apart from that, you can do several things:
- Update all your drivers. You can go to your MOBO's website and update these drivers as well.
- Run some stress testing.
- Test your RAM. How many RAM stick do you have?
- Test your HDD: www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/282651-32-best-diagnostic-testing-utility

Let me know how this goes,
