Question PC Reboots Seemingly At Random

Hello. Starting about two weeks ago my computer has been randomly shutting off, usually but not exclusively while under heavy load. The MOBO remains powered when it cuts off, and after about 10 seconds reboots.

My first thought was power, so I upgraded from a 750W PSU to a 1000W PSU which had no effect, and may have even made it worse. Heat is also a non-issue, with neither the CPU nor the GPU exceeding 60c. Thinking it may be a Windows issue or possibly a failing drive, I even completely reinstalled windows on a different drive. A memory diagnostic also showed no issues.

Oddly, the only thing that did somewhat work was changing the outlet I had it plugged into. This initially fixed the issue completely for about 2 days, then it started doing it again albeit less frequently. I'm honestly at a loss. At this point it has to be either the CPU, the GPU, or the MOBO itself because everything else has been replaced, but I can't find anything suggesting which of those is causing the problem, if any. There's nothing I've noticed that suggests it's about to crash, it just does.

The MOBO, CPU, and RAM are all new, having been purchased in June. The PSU I bought last week and GPU is 14 months old. If it's worth mentioning, it corrupts my Elden Ring saves if it happens while I'm playing.

I feel like I'm losing my mind, has anyone anyone seen an issue like this before and knows what potentially causes it? I'm more than happy to provide any additional information if it helps. Thank you.

When you swapped the psu did you use the orig power cord?

Make sure your motherboard BIOS is fully updated. In addition, when you swapped PSUs, you should have swapped all power cables as well. Only use the cables that shipped with your installed PSU.

If overclocking anything, stop (CPU, memory, GPU). You want to a stable baseline before tweaking, that includes undervolting anything.

Alright, every cable has been replaced. I can't reliably reproduce it so I'll post if the problem persists.

BIOS firmware is current, yeah.

You're right actually, I did OC the CPU, GPU, and RAM after the time I thought I'd fixed it lol. I'll revert all of that, but it's worth noting that the problem had persisted even after I'd reset the BIOS.

Sadly, it just did it again. Maybe worth noting that it got caught up on the initial DRAM while POSTing, but after powering it down it booted just fine.
