Question pc reboots when doing stress test on it

Hello i have a gtx 780 with a 550watt psu and intel pentium g5400
and whenever i stress test the gtx 780 the pc instantly reboots and goes fine afterwards
this also happens when playing demanding games.

Seems like your PSU can't deliver the current peak, which shuts down your computer. That, or your CPU is overheating. Use any application like CoreTemp to check your CPU temperatures. I wonder what your idle and load temperatures are, it should be fine if your idle temperatures are about 45 degrees C or less. The load temperatures should be below 85 degrees.

idle cpu temps are 34-38 under 65

So it's presumable that heat isn't the issue. Which PSU do you have? And if you're familiar with Event Viewer, can you filter for all Critical messages? I wonder how many will pop up.
