Hi all,

Im running into a little unsolvable problem...

Recently my second hard disk crashed/suddenly disappeared, leading to a series of windows crashes. So, after purchasing a new nvme and installing windows 11 on it (worst decision ever). Everything seemed to work fine. However... Everytime when starting a game, after 5 minutes or so, it just reboots/crashes my PC. After several clean windows installs, it kept happening. I than stress tested my whole system with memtest and OCCT and everything passed with no issue. (Even the power supply test)

I still had my primary SSD running windows 10 somewhere, which I decided to use again, and everything worked fine again.. After installing the new nvme as secondary disk, the disk also started disappearing again.

So, I did a clean windows 10 install on the new nvme. The same thing happened again, where every game initiates a windows 10 reboot/crash.

Now i am completely lost, since the old hard disk worked perfectly fine and everything passes the stress test, however it keeps crashing on windows 11 and on windows 10.

Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?

Thanks in advance!

kind regards,

kind regards,

full specs of system.
game your trying to run.

and nvme name

Until we know your specs were driving blind.

Do you know what version of Windows 10 you were running on that old SSD. I would look for an older Windows 10 pre 22H2 and for Windows 11 the same as well pre 24H2.

Again driving blind on our side not knowing you specs. But some Pc's are having issues with the latest releases of Windows 10/11 on some hardware.

Will try a pre 22H2 windows 10

When installing windows I always ensure that I only have the SSD I am installing to connected so that all windows files are contained on the disk in question. The installer has a habit of putting some system reserved files on a different disk at times which can cause issues down the line
