My PC only supports resolution up to 1024x768. I have been using this PC for like a month with no problem (res of my display is 1920x1080) and suddenly this problem came out.

Specs: i58400, 1060, 8GB, Win10 Pro

Tried reinstalling GPU drivers, uninstalling them thru a program and trying to install them (at this point I don't believe it is the GPU. I mean, it works perfectly on games, shows display, but only at this res), different configs on Windows and none of them worked.

Noticed also that the BIOS doesn't load at all. My PC used to show the "Gigabyte" logo (H310 M.2) and now it shows no signal until the login screen.

Help me, I haven't seen a lot of people w/ this problem and idk what to do

Which motherboard do you have?

Removing the 1060 should have re-enabled igpu automatically. Igpu usually disables when a gpu is detected and to enable igpu whilst having the gpu in requires to change setting in bios to use both Pcie and igpu.

It's strange you have no display with 1060 out completely.

What you could try is clear cmos. With 1060 out and pc turned off, remove the watch sized battery from motherboard for a minute or so. This just resets bios to defaults. Igpu should be enabled.
First of all, does your PC detect your GPU? Please open Device Manager and confirm your GPU is indeed detected by the system. From what you say, it sounds like Windows is using its basic display driver.
You could also try forcing the display resolution to 1080p. There should be an option to do that in the Nvidia Control Panel.

It does detects. Also works fine when I try gaming (opening up the games and trying to figure out the FPS).

And trying to use custom resolution on NVidia Panel... It didn't went well... The display got really bad with black borders on top and bellow while the screen itself looked like it had 3 pixels actually. *sigh*

As I said there may be some relation with the fact I can't access the BIOS (I'll try using TAB as the other guy said - tried other buttons but not tab). I don't know. I tried changing cables and monitor aswell and didn't worked.

EDIT: Also the NVidia Panel shows that there's only the DVI port when I'm using an HDMI cable. lol.

Bit of a pickle.

Should see bios splash screen atleast since drivers haven't anything to do with a display at this point.

Have you tried igpu? Do you see bios/post with it or able to set 1080p?

Troubleshoot by

Remove gtx 1060 from system and use onboard graphics. Hope you get a display during post.

Download install DDU in normal Windows then boot and run it in safemode and wipe Nvidia drivers. Reboot to normal Windows then shutdown.

After shutdown,

Put back 1060 and hope the reconnect does something useful.

Download and install Nvidia drivers from GeForce.com. Never use some program.

---

If still no good with 1060 or even igpu,

Try another video cable and another display if possible (TV).

"Tried iGPU?" no actually. Because idk how to turn off the GPU and use only the integrated graphics (just taking off the 1060 doesn't work). It is the only thing that I haven't done actually.

The DDU thing is tricky. I've done it already and -- It didn't worked. I couldn't get any display for 4 hours or so until magically it turned on. Whenever I try to reinstall the GPU drivers there's no signal again.

Haven't tried the TV yet, will update whenever possible.

More things I did:

- Clean Windows copy, just in case;
- Connecting the monitor on another PC (worked on 1080p)
