I have a problem. Basically my pc restarts every time I play GPU intensive games. I ran OCCT PSU test and it restarts my pc pretty much at random times (first seconds/10minute marathone). I cannot precisely diagnose what is my problem. It all started a month ago. Previously I had no issues with that. Then I remember I updated my GPU driver and then I somehow started experiencing those restarts when playing games. Recently I updated my GPU drivers to the latest version. I also updated my BIOS, but the problem persists. I have no idea what is causing that. Please help!

PC SPECS:
Processor: AMD FX-6300 6x3,5GHz
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
GPU: ASUS R9 270X DirectCU II TOP
Memory: Kingston DDRAM3 2x4096MB 1600MHz HyperX Blue CL9
Hard Drive: A-Data SSD (120GB) + Seagate HDD 1000GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3P

Solution

In theory it should be enough but the VS range has a bad reputation and are considered tier 3 http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html It seems likely it has started to fail

The only way to know is by trying another PSU, any tier 1 or 2 500w or higher should be fine for your system, maybe a 600w to give you more flexibility with any future...

I just ran AIDA64 stability test on GPU,CPU,FPU, Cache and RAM for 7 minutes. I asked my friend and he is a bit suspicious about CPU temperature because it is impossible to get that temperature with only air cooling. I have no idea myself. It is strange because pc did not restart at all during the test!

Update: I will try to downgrade my GPU drivers and see what happens,

I called my friends and I will be getting probably a 500W PSU. I'll test everything and I will let You guys know!
Btw. Driver downgrade did not help. So the only thing here left is PSU.

Tho i have no idea what else it could be either, hopefully it fixes with new PSU

Friends PSU works like harm. I managed to run OCCT PSU test on my PSU for ~2 minutes and I comapred it to my friends one. Here are the results. Those are quite shocking tho. Check them out!

Why my PSU gives significantly lower voltage?
