PC restarted playing Starcraft 2

So the weirdest thing happened to me I was playing Starcraft 2 and in the middle of an online match my computer just turned off and rebooted itself on its own this has never happened before with any game that I know of not even what Starcraft 2 I don't know why that would happen I don't know if it's the game or it's because I have a new graphic card now

What was old GPU, what is new GPU? What is your power supply?

Old gpu was r9 390 and new one is 1070ti gtx. My psu is 750watts I believe. Bronze rated

Well the 390 was more of a power comsumer than a 1070 Ti, you did not provide your PSU model though, can you provide that?

I would also try running Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and remove all nvidia and AMD display drivers, reboot and reinstall the latest nvidia ones.

Well I want a model number as I had asked before. Chances are that is the issue, ultra brand is pretty aweful.

Well that is not a good quality power supply and could be part of the problem, but again I find it odd that moving to a lower power draw card 390 to 1070Ti makes this low quality PSU crash the system but it is entirely possible.

Well I went ahead and ordered a new psu. It's a rm1000x gold 80+. Unless I cancel the order?

PSU is way overkill, could easily get away with good quality 550w unit or so, but that should last you a long time.

I just hope using this Ultra 750w power supply on my new 1070ti didn't do any damage since it wasn't strong enough to power it up no more

Its possible but not guaranteed, I would say you should be OK as long as you don't give it gaming loads that causes it to reboot.
