Greetings everyone,
Basically I’ve been experiencing this issue for half a week now with absolutely no luck what so ever. After searching the forums and web for numerous days, this is my only hope before having to break the bank. My computer is rather old and I’ll provide a parts list below. The first time it occured I was gaming normally and computer proceeded to restart without warning, I thought nothing of it continued to game. This time my pc was running for about 30 minutes and it restarted, next 10, then 2 and eventually restarting before I even got the chance to login.
A number of times a blue screen has been given to me with something along the lines of “Windows hasn’t started properly” and a few options. I got so aggrevated a complete reset came to thought but unfortunately just wasted time, since then I havn’t seen a blue screen but if I leave the PC idle it’s perfectly fine. Soon as I download a game or open explorer and search random things restarting occurs. I don’t believe its malware, virus etc. or software related but rather hardware. Possibly related to the power supply or graphics card from what I’ve gathered. PS- Im not rather ‘Techy’ if thats understandable so some easily followed advice would be great : )

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB STD2000DM001
PSU: Be Quiet! Pure Power L8 600W
