Hi, ive been having a persisting problem with my computer the last few weeks and now ive decided that i should get some advice on this because its been causing me headaches. So ive built this computer around 3 years ago and everything was fine until 15th of December.
Basically, the system either constantly restarts itself and boots back to windows or the screens will blackout and i am forced to unplug the pc by the psu as the pc becomes unfunctional.
Ive tried looking up solutions on this and ive updated all drivers etc, which didnt solve the problem, i then decided to reset my cmos battery which fixed it for a few days but it came back. Which then i decided to resit my ram and checked all cables were plugged in properly but it didnt solve the problem so i purchased a new power supply which fixed it for about a day or two but once again i still have this problem.
This usually happens within about 10 minutes after i boot into windows, however i noticed today that if i run a game im able to play it for about 30-40 minutes until it crashes which seems unusual.
So now im stuck on what to do as i thought it wouldve been a power supply issue but it wasnt it, and i have no clue on how to troubleshoot this anymore. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
