Question PC restarts while I'm gaming ?

I am recently facing an issue where if i am playing any heavy games, my PC reboots and then has no display.

PC Specs
Mobo: Asrock B650
CPU: Ryzen 7 7700
GPU: XFX RX 6900 XT
RAM: Corsair Vengence RGB 32GB (16GB x 2) rated 6000mhz
PSU: DeepCool 850 watt

The RAM is set to default 4800mt/s, that's another issue, it won't go to 6000mhz despite enabling the profiles and setting it manually but it wont work, just displays blank boot.
Now the main issue is the pc reboots whilst gaming , There's no heating issues, temps are pretty fine with all components

I tried a few fixes from reditt like:

• Updating bios
• Having everything on default
• Playing with different versions of the adrenaline
• Deleting corsair icue ( someone on reditt said it causes issues )
• Testing every component individually and combined with OCCT

But no fix so far

No there arent any heat issues since i use msi after burner and constanly keep an eye on the temps they are pretty good , Iam using a 240mm From Id Cooling

I am leery of your PSU/GPU combo. The 6900 XT can be very picky with PSUs, quite demanding.

you are right the issue has been here after i shifted from 3080 to 6900xt , Can this be the issuue ?

Just changed my psu to 1050watt cougar 80 plus golf , still the same issue

Go into your BIOS. Reset it to default, if not already there. Them, find where you can manually set the PCIe version and change to Version 3. Save and restart.

Here s what happened , i undervolted the gpu and it ran fine for 15 20 minutes better than before but did the same thing after , I ll do what you asked

I set it to gen 3 and trying it out while we speak but iam just curious wouldn’t that decrease the bandwidth and such that the performance?

Yup most recent and non beta version, plus it seems fine now the game in running good , just one tiny bit problem 3 of my fans are acting different there rgb is dimming and all

That is likely non-related. Are your fans connected to a fan controller or directly to the motherboard?

They are daisy chained together powered by the psu

So the issue seems to be resolved but what do you think i should do ? change the gpu ot something

No. Still a solid GPU. If stable, ignore the issue and game on!
