PC restarts itself after upgrading my Graphics Cards

A few days ago, I upgraded my graphics card and since then have experienced random restarts from my PC. I found that they usually happen 10-15 minutes or so after turning on the computer. If I had to guess it might be because of an insufficent power supply because it said the graphics card required minimum 400W and current power supply is only 450W, or because my current CPU isnt up to speed with my graphics card or something i dont really know what im talking about can you kind folk please advise this computer scrub?
