Hi Tom's!
My PC starting acting weird recently, it restarts completly randomly, sometimes right after windows boots, sometimes during games, watching videos etc. I can safely say it's not overheating what causes the restarts.

There is no BSOD it just restarts most of the time, when it doesnt restart immediately then I have to wait like ~30 minutes at least until I can turn on my PC again.

Specs are:
MoBo: ASRock Z87 Extreme4
CPU: i7 4770k
CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U14S
GPU: MSI GTX 1070 Gaming-X 8G
RAM: 4x4GB G.Skill Ares DDR3-2133
SSD: 250GB Samsung Evo 840
HDD1: WD Blue 1TB
HDD2: WD Blue 1TB
PSU: 750W Seasonic X-Series Modular 80+ Gold
Case: Thermaltake Chaser A71

is anything overclocked? if so remove that firstly see you have a K version

nothing is overheating. you checked temps with a program? just curious how you confirmed

have you started first step troubleshooting? say you play a particular game and it always restarts after a certain time or certain spot that is reproducable and always restarts consistently. unplug everything unecessary your 2 extra HDD, start with 1 stick of memory

have you updated to the latest BIOS?

First things first CPU is not overclocked everything running on stock.

I'm 100% sure its not overheating, couple of reasons why:
First time PC started doing this was in october 2016, it happened 3-4 times during a weekend and thats it, now it came back around ~2 weeks ago.
I've been monitoring my temps a couple days ago during a 5 hour long Battlefield 1 session
CPU max temp was 53 Celsius
GPU max temp was 67 Celsius
Both of them are perfectly fine.
I can't reproduce them at all since they are completly random, as I said it happened once right after booting windows, stared at my desktop for like 2 seconds maybe then boom restart.

ok we'll go with not overheating

Well yeah think I fixed the problem by unplugging my PS3 controller. As weird as it sounds, it seems like the problem is gone.
