Question PC restarts randomly while playing games

2080Ti at stock clocks
16gb pny anarchy x ddr4
750watt seasonic focus plus
samsung 970 evo m.2 ssd

any ideas why this is happening? any help is appreciated!

Probably heat related. What is your case and how many fans are in it? What is your CPU cooler?

its an NZXT s340 Elite. It has 4 case fans and I have a Corsair h115i Pro

That case only supports 4 fans max and your radiator can only be at the front. Therefore you don't have any cool air coming in from the front and if air is coming in it is fighting your radiator. Unless you have the radiator fans blowing into the case which isn't a good idea as you are blowing hot air into a hot case. For your components I would want a case with a lot more airflow and fans.

Use a temp reader such as HwInfo64 and watch your temps while gaming and post up the temps you come across. My FX9590 rig used to restart a lot or just power down due to heat issues.

My temps are around 50-60c on the cpu and 84c on the gpu while gaming

The maximum temp of the 2080Ti is 89c, so you are getting quite close to that, if not exceeding it which would cause it to shutdown.

Please note your VRMs also produce heat/need cooling, and can contribute to instability if not adequately cooled. These are often not monitored or adequately monitored. As a temp check, one can run a box fan as airflow through the case( at an angle) with the side of the case off. LOTS of CFM of air that way. Also note, keep your system out in the open if you have it under something, as trapped hot air may be recirculating.
