Pc restarts when playing a game

So i recently moved my alienware into a new case, for the first day I ran games just fine, played da inquisition for 4hrs straight with no problems. Next day the second I boot into a game my pc restarts. I reinstalled all the graphics drivers, updated my bios and no matter what game I try it restarts, even 3d mark restarts.

My specs are
Windows 7 home premium x64
Mobo is the proprietary one that came in the alienware
Intel core i7 3770
Msi gtx 970 4gb gddr5
Corsair 600w 80+ bronze
16gb ram
And my case is a cooler master n200

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheap CX series power supply is what I would say.

Your power supply is probably failing due to the Corsair CX series using poor capacitors. Get a new power supply, preferably one manufactured by either XFX or Seasonic.

is there no way to fix it other than buying a new one?

I have no problems whatsoever with CX750 Bronze+ PSU, and i have been using it for 7 months?? i have a 970 and a 4790K both are overclocked and the performance is flawless... (wasn't responding to OP)

I have seen too many cx units fail in a similar way. That's where I would start. Of the cx units I used in builds the average life span was about a year. These were in systems pulling less of load than yours.

well I've looked around and done everything i could, swapped cables, cleaned components, re-installed drivers, updated bios/drivers/games, disabled automatic restart, ran some stress tests (prime95 and occt) and everything seemed fine, i even lowered the clock speed and power draw of the gpu. One of those things worked because up until today i was gaming with no problems, today it powered off again, no blue screen no restart just out of nowhere the game froze and the pc shut off (the pc was only on for 15min before i started the game and the game only ran for 2min). if the only solution is to get a new psu any good recommendations for a 600w psu would be greatly appreciated (preferably $100 or less)

The 550w XFX is a good PSU and more than capable of running your system.
