Hello,
Since a few weeks i have been having an issue where when i play a heavy game (i only played destiny 2), my PC crashes and restarts on its own. At first, it happened once every 2 or 3 hours, but now it happens within 10 to 15 seconds of starting the game. I sometimes get blue screen before the PC restarted (critical process died) but that happens rarely.
Since this issue surfaced, i have tried the following,
  1. clean windows install
  2. new nvme
  3. fresh windows on a different hard drive
  4. disconnect other drives to see if any one of them is causing an issue
  5. test on furmark and 3d mark (retsarting within 10s of launching)
  6. tried to run cpu benchmark (runs fine without issues)
  7. monitored temps and voltages using HWinfo but no signs of overheating

Now, before this issue started happening, i had installed a new ram. A 16gb 3600mhz single stick. and i installed it with my other stick which is 8gb 3200mhz (i know its wrong). after installation, i started getting these restarts within a few days and then i removed the new stick. the issue still perisited.
one thing that i noticed is that the pc doesnt restart for about 1-2 hours after it was shut down for a long time (overnight) once the first restart happens, it just wont let me play anything.

i havent tested my GPU, PSU or the RAM in anyother PC, nor have i tested different ones on my PC.
