my pc just runs fine and boots up in windows like normally, but when i want to enter the bios it will restart my pc, but it will just boot up fine in windows?
Do i need to buy a special bios battery for that?I would first change the BIOS battery. I've seen strange things happen with weak and/or faulty BIOS batteries.
What PC is it?
Please list the system specs.
It's usually a CR2032 battery.
How old is the system?
If you post your MB model I could know better....but usually there is a CR2032 battery on the motherboard. It came with a i3 2120 and 4 gb ddr3 ram and with a HD5450
upgraded the gpu to a gtx 750ti
And today upgraded the ram: to 12gb
and tommorow my i5 2500k will arrive
I dont know but i do know that the i3 2120 is old, can resetting the cmos battery not help?If you post your MB model I could know better....but usually there is a CR2032 battery on the motherboard.
Power down and change it.
Your BIOS might reset to defaults.
