Pc restarts while playing games

I have r9 280x graphics card and it restarts while playing i have 750w psu 12v 16amp and 12v 18amp rails does psu cause this problem?

Has it worked before with no issues? What is the brand and model of the power supply? Considering the 12v rails you listed combined is maybe 400 watts, that is not close to a 750 watt power supply. That is probably your issue right there. Get a good quality power supply, something like this model https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817151095

I got a fix for this...it worked for me... so I think it should work for you...
Firstly clean ur cpu and apply new thermal paste
Next get the latest BIOS for your motherboard
After doing that follow the following steps:-
Right click on "This PC"(or My Computer on windows 7)
Click on Manage
On the left hand side... u would see a list
at the bottom of the list is Services and application
click on it
then on the right side you would see an option called services
click on it
Now a list of services should popup
Scroll down to "Performance Logs & Alert"
Click on it
on its window, click on the recovery tab
and select the first failure, second failure and subsequent failure options to "Take no action"
apply it and click OK
then restart your PC and boom! no problem thereafter!

A 750w PSU with only 2 12v rails putting out 16 & 18A would be a piece of junk. Are you sure about that? (16+18)*12=408w, a good 750w should have at least 700w across the 12v rails.
