My rig-
Pentium dual core
R7 250
8gb ram
G41 series mobo

Now im on a tight budget, so i can either buy cpu + mobo or gpu under inr11000. These are my choices-
Cpu- fx6300 + mobo
Gpu- 750ti or rx 460

Which will give me more fps ? Plz tell :)

Oh, but other people are saying i would get more fps with gpu.

Okay, for instance i play witcher 3. It freezes for a sec occasionally and then run at 20fps. Will the gpu improve this?
And also i play injustice , dying light , gta5 etc. Will the gpu improve fps?

And also which gpu of the above should i buy?

Sadly, no🙁. Is there a 4 to 6 pin converter cable? Or would i have to buy 750 ti?

Here's what I bought for $350. ( Intel rig of like parts couldn't touch it) fx8320e, MSI 990 fxa gaming, EVGA 950 ftw, 2 sticks GSkill 4 GB.Personally, I love the " no upgrade path" argument.Like people are going to actually keep gaming on the same rig for 10 years.Want budget, go AMD,. You got the cash to sling around..go i5- 4690k. The games I play, I get a min. Of 55 fps.

Actually , im a class 11 student. My parents have agreed to this after a lot of arguement, so i cant upgrade my rig to that extent right now. I will get a new processor only if i good grade in my half yearlies :3. Thats why i was asking if there is a convert 4-6 pins.

and plese tell me , i the rx 460 dual fan would be able to fit in my cabinet---

Nope, I'm (almost) 100% sure this MSI RX 460 2gb can be powered by just the PCIE slot and its within your budget for upgrading :)

Looking at the card I don't see a extra connection for the PSU (nor do I see it required in the specs) so I think your all set.

What case do you have?

Bro i bought rx 460 and connected the 6 to 4 pin converter and all . Its all being powered as both fans are running but my monitor shows no signal when connected gpu with hdmi, plz help me.

What is the exact model of your PSU? You need at least a 380W PSU to run that card.

If your PSU meets the requirements then you may want to do a few things,
-Update the BIOS
-Make sure the GPU is plugged into the slot correctly and that the connections are fitted right.

If your PSU doesn't meet this requirement then I would return that card and just get the GTX 750 ti, make sure it doesn't require additional power from the PSU.

I have an intex 450w psu.

Never heard of that company, a quick search yielded some pretty poor comments (no reviews). Even though it says 450W it probably doesn't deliver nearly enough power for that GPU and that's more then likely your issue. Either return the RX 460 and get the GTX 750 ti (version that doesn't require additional power from the PSU) or get a better PSU. This Zotac 750 ti would be perfect.
