[SOLVED] PC says i go 1gbs internet but the speed test doesn't go over 160

So i 3 days i upgraded to a new network and it's still the same, no difference at all. I looked at some posts but maybe there is still a solution before i start switching the cables or stuff like that. I got a cat5e and when i go to enthernet it says i got 1gps but my download speeds are as low as before. Any other tips?

That 1Gb is the link speed from your PC to your router. That is your LAN speed. Your download speed is limited by the package you have with your ISP, the router you have and even the settings in the router.
What speed do you pay for ?

That is SO WRONG. PC can't tell you what Internet speed you PAID. Maybe you want to ask the person who pays the bill.
