As I said in the title, my screen goes black for about 3-4 seconds from time to time. This isn't tied with, for example, watching Youtube or playing games, it happens regardless of what I'm doing. It MIGHT have started since I installed a new GPU, although I'm not sure. It doesn't happen regularly- sometimes it's once per hour, another time twice per half an hour, or sometimes once per 5 hours or so. Here's my PC specs: GPU: GTX1050ti, CPU: AMD FX(tm)-6300 Six-Core Processor, RAM: 2x4GB Goodram DDR3 1333MHz, MOBO: Gigabyte 970A-DS3P, My Screen: Philips 193V5 18.5 inch wide (it was bought about 3 years ago).
I would be grateful for any help.

I don't have the possibility to test with another monitor. Here's my PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 500W (LT-500NL2NC) ATX 12V 2.3.

I've had this problem for about three months. I have a Lenovo SFF M83, i5-4570, 20GB RAM, 1TB Crucial SSD and a Quadro K620 GPU driving a HP 2371d monitor. The monitor started showing pink shade on the far right of the screen and was blacking out and after switching it to VGA directly off the M83, it still had the color and the blacking out. I had the monitor checked professionally and they concluded the unit was bad, even though it was usable. I switched to another monitor, HP V242h , cured the coloration but would still black out intermittently. Went to the Nvidia Control Panel - Display - Adjust desktop color settings - 2. Choose how color is set. There I found the default setting was "Other applications control color settings". I unchecked that and checked "Use Nvidia settings". I have had success with this setting so far. I actually found this suggestion searching Google from an older "Tom's" post that I haven't been able to find again.
