PC screen goes black randomly

Well randomly when i playing games or even watching youtube vids my screen goes black and shows the pc monitors company, and after like 5 seconds it goes back to where it was on, And the sound stays playing if im like watching a video or playing games, so im able to hear that. It started happening when i upgraded from Gt 610 to gtx 960. Is it the drivers of the 610 , would not uninstalling old drivers do that? And if so how do you uninstall the previous gpus drivers for a fresh start

sounds like it is losing connection. Is it plugged in via HDMI (explains the delay when it starts up again - HDCP handshake) could be the cable or the new card. Try another cable if you can.

Or try connecting with DVI or DP if possible.
