pc Screen showing blocks and lines

Hi guys,

Today when i turned on my pc i saw this:

I have tried reseating the gpu, w/ no effect.
i have also tried to run the pc with the lines but after starting windows i get a windows error and then the pc reboots.
i am also using vga, i didnt have these troubles before.
Any suggestions?

the gpu isnt detected in dxdiad in safe mode?

Almost certainly the card is dead: http://www.playtool.com/pages/artifacts/artifacts.html
All I can suggest is you remove the card again and GENTLY clean the edge connector before putting the card back in to retest it.
